About Variant Minds
Variant Minds is committed to making it easier to understand and embrace neurodivergence in professional and social spaces. Backed by extensive research and lived experiences, we focus on supporting late-diagnosed Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD individuals while helping organisations build inclusive, forward-thinking workplaces with clear, actionable strategies.
Based in Sydney, Australia, we work to change perceptions of neurodivergence - locally through practical consulting and training, and globally through our publications. Our aim is to design ways to make inclusion simple and effective.
Our Vision
We believe that neurodiversity is simple to manage once we understand what it is and how it works, not an challenge that get discarded as "too hard". Whether in the workplace or society, recognizing and valuing diverse cognitive approaches leads to better problem-solving, creativity, and progress. Variant Minds exists to bridge the gap between neurodivergent individuals and the systems that often overlook their potential.
Our Work
Variant Minds is home to a growing collection of books and resources designed to educate, support, and advocate for neurodivergent talent. From breaking down diagnostic myths to offering practical workplace strategies, each work is crafted to challenge outdated perspectives and drive meaningful change.
Why It Matters
For too long, hiring practices, management styles, and workplace cultures have been built around neurotypical norms - leaving neurodivergent professionals struggling to fit into systems that don't accommodate their needs. Through Variant Minds, we aim to modernize HR policies, redefine leadership approaches, and provide tangible solutions that benefit both individuals and businesses.
